snakes in the grass !

Dawn.......
yet another new beginning of -
unforeseen calamities!

I love a walk in the grass,
reflecting the nascent sun on -
their pearly dew crown!

waves of soothing calm,
escalating in undulating ripples
from my bare sole to-
my unbearable soul !

I want to believe in this new day...
believe in Celene Dion's song .

Alas!
I must tread with caution,
even in this walk in the park
coz, I might step on latent venom,
for there are lethal snakes
around my feet !
